Abstract

A computer system is a well-known electronic device that accepts data representation input and transforms it into meaningful output. This study was undertaken to investigate and resolve the issue of the paper ballot system currently utilised by the (INEC) in conducting elections.

The manner in which elections are held determines the type of leader that constitutes the governor and the nature of government in Nigeria. This research is done out utilising indigenously built software to be run on well-designed electronic voting machines that might be used for paper planning and computerised election implementation.

The latest invention to demonstrate the world’s technological advancement is computerised voting. It has gained widespread acceptance and has been adopted for usage by the governments of the world’s developed countries.

This project was created with INEC in mind to ensure accurate registration, accreditation, verification voting, vote counting, and possibly vote recounting. The technology is user-friendly and simple to use, and the results are accurate and dependable.
