Teaching and learning are the two sides of a single coin. the world teaching is crucial for appreciating the practitioner’s role in the student’s upbringing. There may be a single, all-encompassing definition of the word teaching, but attempts have been made to de and explain it, especially since teaching has a meaning, function, and degree structure or level (Imogie, 1999).

Teaching as a process will result in a nation’s social, economic, and political development; the achievement of desired goals is contingent on the effectiveness and determination of teachers. At this time, it is crucial to identify who is a teacher.

In all societies of the world, it is a known fact that education begins in the home or rather at home. Children learn to speak and perform tasks by imitating their parents, relatives, peers, etc. In the past, this process of socialization was carried out by a number of individuals who lacked formal education.

As a society became more complex, interdependent, and specialized, formal education or training became necessary. Children are introduced to formal education under the care and supervision of a specialized staff whose training and responsibilities are to instill in the young child value norms, rules, and all societal standards.
