Local consumables such as garri pomade, detergents, sachet water, foot wears, garments, maize flour, cassava flour, and pastries such as bread, cake, meat pie, fish roll, toast, and so on are manufactured by manufacturing firms.

Other relevant manufactured products include furniture items, cement blocks, and so on. However, it has been noticed that the number and quality of items are insufficient to meet the needs and demands of consumers.

As a result, there is concern that small-scale manufacturing enterprises in Nigeria may face limited opportunities for success, expansion, and diversification. Despite the bleak circumstances, there is yet hope for Nigeria’s small-scale manufacturers.
