ABSTRACT
This research focuses on the influence of compensation increases in enhancing worker productivity, notably in NDL.
The need for compensation increases, characteristics of a successful salary rise, and various forms of incentive schemes were discussed. Questionnaires were developed and administered to workers in order to learn about and investigate the causes of low worker productivity.
The findings show that there are a lack of some critical incentives, such as participative management, upfront salary providing and loan issuing, pay review on a regular basis, and so on.
This paper then recommends that the business implement upfront salary, periodic salary reviews, and participative management for all employees.
Finally, compensation increases serve as a stimulus for productivity, and providing a favourable ambiance / environment is also required for optimal job performance.
