This educational intervention project, didactic in nature and which is a specific work methodology, is expected to contribute an innovative approach to the learning of the English language. Starting from the third level of primary education it will look to integrate English within an already bilingual school system (Basque and Spanish) in a holistic way, the proposition being to introduce children´s animated films in their original version for use as didactic material. The fact that children already use videos in their leisure time offers us an ideal opportunity to start introducing vocabulary, grammar, expressions and the positive values needed to learn the English language. The aim is to instill an appetite for the English language from an early age through the attention and interest generated from this kind of format, thus encouraging the motivation to form an affective union with their first foreign language in a practical and a playful way.
