IMPACT OF THE COLD WAR ON THE STRUGGLE AGAINST APARTHEID IN SOUTH AFRICA

ABSTRACT

The coincidence of the Cold War with the period of apartheid in South Africa, in which it played an important role, is a remarkable feature of the Cold War. This is reflected in school textbooks, where it is a major topic in the last years of history.

This includes materials found in libraries, journals, newspapers (national and daily), magazines, and seminar monographs. Theses, both published and unpublished
