EFFECTS OF STAFF WELFARE ON EMPLOYEE TURNOVER

Figures and Abstract

An important factor in an employee’s decision to stay with a company is whether or not they have access to adequate welfare benefits. In Sri Lanka, there is a lack of empirical evidence and information about the impact of employee retention on welfare facilities.

The primary goal of this investigation is to discover the impact that a company’s welfare amenities have on employee retention. The study’s research question: Is there a link between employee well-being facilities and retention?

The study employed a convenience random sampling method to select 150 non-managerial employees as a sample. To collect primary data from the sample, a five-point scale was employed for all questions in the structured questionnaire.

Bivariate and multivariate statistical analysis were employed in this investigation. Researchers discovered a link between staff loan programs, canteen facilities and other amenities and employee retention. Welfare facilities should be bolstered by management in order to maximize employee benefits, according to a study.
